BOOK YOUR OPEN MIC SPOT
Each solo performer or duo is offered a two song spot before the break and two song spot after the break. Larger groups are offered up to a 4 song spot in the second half of the evening.
To avoid disappointment we ask you to contact Mike Farrow to book a spot for the open mic night, as we have found that there is a wealth of talented singers and musicians wanting to perform and it can be hard to fit every one in.
GENRES OF MUSIC
Mike is very sure that he wants the musical mix at the club to be eclectic and entertaining. Both Tony and Chris are strongly supportive of this aim. Hence folk both trad and contemporary are featured in the diary and welcomed at the open mic as are: blues, blue grass, singer songwriters, instrumentalists and even a foot stomping folk dance. In fact if it is acoustic and good your welcome and an electric bass or an evenly tempered electric guitar wont get turned away. Specially if your name is Mark Knopfler. |
